Well, this is interesting. Fans asked Nintendo repeatedly where Tri Force Heroesfalls on the Zeldatimeline, and the developers actually had an answer for them. Taking to Twitter, the official Nintendo account noted that “the game takes place several years after A Link Between Worldsand features the same hero.”
It goes on to state that he dresses differently to “hide his heroic origins,” but the player character is in fact “the true Hyrulian hero.” Well, that makes sense as the game does hint towards that a bit in its typical comedic fashion, but still, nice to see it confirmed.
