PS4 release date, PS Vita price drop
Once again it seems Sony won another conference with their reveals at gamescom 2013 today. The PlayStation 4’s release date was officially announced, plus the PlayStation Vita is getting a major price drop.
Plus, the games. So many games. So many indie games, no less. Here’s everything that happened today at Sony’s press conference:
The hardware:
- PS4 will release on November 15 in North America, November 29 in Europe
- Free 14 day trial of PS Plus for every EU PS4
- Twitch support announced for PlayStation 4
- Playroom will be pre-installed on all PlayStation 4s
- 12GB PS3 is now available in US and Canada for $199
- Sony to drop PlayStation Vita price to $200
