Bayonetta remains a spot of contention among Super Smash Bros. players, and it seems like Nintendo is going to address it again in the new patch. According to a dataminer, the patch onlyalters Bayonetta, and no one else. The Smash Boards have actually broken it down even further, and it looks like a hefty nerf.
This wouldn’t be coming out of nowhere. Fans worldwide have been arguing about Bayonetta’s tourney viability for months, and seem relatively content with allowing every other character to compete. This patch would basically just accommodate high-level play, if this dataminer ends up being accurate.
