We’ll always remember
With the recent layoffs that happened at Telltale Games this past weekend, a bunch of former employees have been coming out with stories of being overworked, underpaid and seriously neglected. Each little bit that gets revealed shows an ugly side most people probably didn’t expect from such an acclaimed studio. Still, not everything being Tweeted this weekend has been so negative.
Melissa Hutchinson, the voice actress behind Clementine from The Walking Dead, has offered words of encouragement to the wonderful people she got the chance to work with. Along with thanking her fans for giving her this opportunity, she is grateful for being given the chance to voice such a strong character.
Hello friends. I am so very deeply moved by the messages of love that I, and the folks from @telltalegames have been receiving. Yesterday was one of the toughest days ever. A lot of hearts were broken, including mine. Please read the attached. #TelltaleJobs #Clementine #TWD pic.twitter.com/Fb68z86j8e

The entire situation with Telltale Games is just horrible. This was a studio with such immense talent that got undone by near-sighted business decisions and crappy management. My heart goes out to all affected and I hope the best for them. Talent like that shouldn’t get squandered by the choices of braindead executives.
