Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is still slated for a November 23 release, and it looks like that’s going to hold. For now, we have a benchmark tool.

Unveiled officially over the weekend, Square Enix has provided FFXIV players a free way to test out max settings on their official site. Basically just go there, download the tool, and cross-check them with the game’s system requirements. Changes from Shadowbringers to Endwalker include 10GB more HDD space on PS5 and 20GB of space on PC, but other than that, it’s mostly the same.

Here’s what the benchmark tool does straight from Square Enix: “This benchmark uses updated scoring criteria to account for the increase in multiplayer content and provide a more accurate evaluation of how your computer will perform when running the latest version of the game. A character creation tool is also included, featuring the highly anticipated male Viera.”

It’ll take place in Old Sharlayan, Thavanair, and Seventh Dawn. Note that like past benchmark tools it’s not playable: it’s just a way to see some of the new areas first-hand in a sort of video that stress-tests your machine.

If you aren’t keen on downloading it for yourself (or just play on console), you can watch the video below, in 4K60, to get an idea of what the expansion is going to bring to the table aesthetically.
