We have the first gameplay footage andpreliminarydetails for Square Enix’s upcoming next-gen RPG, Final Fantasy XV. If you’re just catching up, here are the facts, Final Fantasy fans:
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII is now Final Fantasy XV
- Final Fantasy XV will come to both the PS4 and Xbox One
- Crown Prince Noctis is the protagonist
- Noctis and his friends were cast out of their home, the Kingdom of Lucis
- Final Fantasy XV features real-time combat
- Date is TBD
And this footage! Wow. Look at Noctis, lead character from the newly announced Final Fantasy IV. What a badass. Crystals flying all around him. Climbing walls with swords. Beating enemies down while hanging from edges. He’s like a super cool monkey. Look closely and you’ll see text mentioning something called Linkforms. And something called Warping.
