Free-to-play Happy Wars released on Xbox One, promptly pulled

Early trigger finger?

Happy Wars enjoyed a certain degree of success in the past few years on Xbox 360, reaching six million players — they’re not all paying customers, but to have that many people download your product is still impressive. It appears as if it did well enough for an Xbox One release, which happened to drop last weekend, until it was promptly pulled.

According to the Facebook page, there was an issue where if you downloaded it on Xbox One, your 360 game would cease to function. It won’t be back up until the problem is fixed. I heard good things about Happy Warsbut never got around to trying it — I think I’ll fix that when ever the current-gen version arrives.
