After a ridiculously short gameplay trailer a few weeks back, Codemasters is finally showing off something more substantial for its upcoming Grid reboot. Taking us to the “Havana Street Circuit,” this classic track looks suitably dense and cramped for the type of experience that Grid is famous for. You’ll make tight turns, ram opponents, and cut in front of the opposition with split-second decision making all while taking in the sights of Cuba.
As shown in the trailer, Grid will also be featuring some of the cars from the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. I only really know about IMSA from my experience going to Sebring each year, but they run a tight ship. That level of authenticity should be evident when Grid launches this October.
