Microsoft is only just getting started with the over-saturation brand synergy aspect of Minecraft. On October 23, the Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions of the game will host more DLC in the form of Halo 5: Guardiansskins.
The good news is that if you already own the Halo Edition mash-up pack, you’ll get free access to the new Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris characters, which include the two main characters of Guardians— Master Chief and Locke.
If you don’t own it already it’s priced at $3.99. All my friend’s children still play Minecraft, so it’s not going away anytime soon — I’m okay with that.
