Clowning on obvious Yiga clan members in Zelda: Breath of the Wild never gets old

The Yiga clan is perfect comic relief

Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity lean hard into the comic nature of the Yiga clan, and players will never stop exploiting them for entertainment. I can’t look at a banana now without laughing.

That includes this recent video from lodovofbg, which is a classic quick clip that Breath of the Wild is known for: the Yiga clan member didn’t know what hit him. Based on the screenshot alone, I think you can guess what happens. Sometimes, life is all about the simple things.

Amazingly, people are still playing this game and coming up with ways to entertain the community. What really caught my eye is a comment in the thread that mentioned “hunting” Yiga Clan members, and how they can tell them apart at a glance.

That’s the sort of activity that folks make up when they really want another excuse to keep playing the game, devoid of the critical path it offers. The first thing that comes to mind, and one of the bigger events that initially sprang up around the community, is the “good dog run.” where players try to speedrun feeding every dog in the game. It’s just so wholesome, and so is this cartoonish clip of a man getting flattened by a boulder.
