The Matrix works so well in Sifu

While we hopelessly wait for another game, check out these Neo and Agent Smith mods

I blinked and I missed it! The Sifu modding community has been very productive over the last month, whipping up a bunch of character-swapping mods that you’d hope and expect to see. From Batman to Bruce Lee to Shaggy, 2B, and even Yusuke Urameshi, the choice is yours. But for my time and enjoyment, there’s no topping the mods based on The Matrix.

Yep, it’s Neo versus an Agent Smith army. The results speak for themselves.

I’m sitting here nodding at my screen like a fool as the bodies hit the floor. Yes. Yesss.

For the complete Matrix experience, there are a few Sifu mods to grab from Halfmillz over on Nexus Mods, including one for sounds and another for the right color palette:

Of course, if you really want to feel like The One — enough to effortlessly swat down Smith after Smith in a cinematic skirmish — then you’ll need to train. Sifu is no cakewalk. As Eric broke it down in his review, it’s a “challenge worth taking on and overcoming.”

Or you could resort to other tactics for a leg up. Just tell yourself it’s a simulation.

I thought the playable Matrix Awakens tech demo for Unreal Engine 5 was ultimately worth a download (especially pre-Resurrections), but when it comes right down to it, I just wanna pummel a bunch of sharp-dressed men as Neo in a sick action game.

This is my favorite world-colliding mod moment since Jafar strolled into Final Fantasy XV.
