So you’re saying there’s a chance
Legacy of Kainfans have had a small taste of the universe recently with the free-to-play shooter Nosgoth, but others (myself included) are chomping at the bit for a real, properaction game. Finder AU managed to speak to Crystal Dynamic’s senior designer Michael Brinker, and it looks like there’s hope of that actually happening.
Brinker stated, when asked about a potential future Kaingame, “it’s a 50/50 chance. We have in-house developers who really want to make that game. It’s interesting because people look back at our history and our franchises and see that we have some really great iconic IPs.”
It’s cool that the developersthemselves really want to see the series return let alone the legions of fans. Right now, Crystal Dynamics has its hands full though possibly developing a rumored third Tomb Raidergame when they accidentally confirmed a trilogy at gamescom, and they still have to launch Rise of the Tomb Raider, so we’ll see when or if this becomes a reality a few years out at the earliest.
